Gothenburg this friday!
On August 27 Taikes will return to Henriksberg in Gothenburg. The doors will open at 8pm. Free admission if you arrive between 8 and 9. Entrance fee 80 SEK after that. 18 years and up. ID required. Taikes will play for about 40 minutes (starting time not known yet) so both older hits and new material will be played. Directions: The address is Stigbergsliden 7. From the city centre you can come by trams 3, 9 or 11 and get off at Stigbergstorget. Map.

Acoutic gig in beautiful Särö!
Just a few days ago we were invited to play at Club Revolution nr 9 in Blomstermåla, Särö. An acoustic session with four songs was played on Wednesday 26th of August before giving room on stage to Meja, DeSalinos, Olle Ljungström and Ebbot. Thanks to everyone who was there! Since the beginning of 2009 we have spent numerous days in the studio, working on our new CD with working title “Apologize to all your friends”. At first it wasn’t part of the plan to release a single but after many requests from you, longing for new material, this is the result. Regarding the upcoming CD it will take a while longer, since we in the band want to make sure that the result is to everybody’s satisfaction before it can be presented. There are a few people we would like to send an extra thanks to for helping us with important work in the finishing of the single and promo pictures.
